This mosaic was created as part of an art challenge to create a series of small mosaics inspired by images from nature. The mosaic measures 2.5x3.5 inches.
The mosaic was created by setting the tesserae (the small pieces of slate, stone, glass etc) into a bed of pigmented tile adhesive. (also known as thinset).
