阿樹去過不少的邊境城市，但是，像吉林省琿春市一樣的，我想不出第二個。這裡地處中國、朝鮮、俄羅斯交界地帶，是中國唯一一個能同時看到俄羅斯、北朝鮮領土的城市。這座城市，滿大街是俄文和朝鮮語，俄國餐廳、俄貨商鋪隨處可見。一天，我誤打誤撞走進了一家中國工廠，裡面僱傭了幾百上千的北朝鮮女工，我嘗試和這些北朝鮮女工交流，了解她們身在異國的生活。另外，我還走訪了琿春的海鮮產業，因為毗鄰俄羅斯、朝鮮和日本海，琿春市被稱為中國的“帝王蟹之都”。
Atlas has visited many border cities, but I can't think of another one quite like Hunchun in Jilin Province. Located at the intersection of China, North Korea, and Russia, it is the only city in China where you can simultaneously see Russian and North Korean territories. This city is filled with Russian and Korean writing on the streets, and Russian restaurants and shops selling Russian goods are everywhere. Besides Russians, Hunchun is home to about 100,000 Chinese citizens of Korean ethnicity and at least several thousand North Koreans working in Chinese factories.
