The Insta360 Go 3S is the fourth iteration of the tiny camera series from Insta360 and the first to offer video shooting in 4k.
As a running vlogger size and weight are very important factor when I am considering what equipment I use when filming my videos, so the form factor of the Insta360 Go range had always been appealing, but I was waiting for it to be able to handle shooting in 4k.
I have put the Insta360 Go 3S through extensive use since I got the camera in August 2024 and in many ways it has revolutionised the way I have made a lot of my content.
I used to rely on a couple of GoPro cameras (a Hero 7 and a Hero 9) for shooting my content and that setup was quite bulky and at times unreliable, so I was seeking a camera to simplify things and improve my experience.
In this review I go over all the features of the Insta360 Go 3S action camera that I regularly use. I don't cover 'every' feature and mode, choosing to focus on the ones I use most often.
Has the Insta360 Go 3S successfully managed to fit into my creator setup, or am I regretting the move from GoPro?
