With the growing popularity of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and vast variety of head units and options, it can be a great way to customize your audio/nav experience to your needs. In this case, I installed a Sony XAV-AX5000 into my NC2 Miata with Bose, retaining factory Bose amp/speakers, steering wheel controls, and adding parking brake bypass and reverse camera! I’ll show you components of installation and see below for the detailed wiring diagram, as I don’t go in depth on that in the video. Special thanks to Cameron for assisting filming/install!
