इडली
• १/४ कप / ३० ग्रॅम पोहे
• २ कप / ३२० ग्रॅम जाड रवा
• चवीनुसार मीठ
• १/२ कप / १२५ ग्रॅम दही
• १ चमचा इनो फ्रुट सॉल्ट
• १ चमचा पाणी
चटणी
• १/२ कप / १२५ ग्रॅम शेंगदाणे
• २ लसूण पाकळ्या
• ४~५ हिरव्या मिरच्या
• १/४ कप / ४० ग्रॅम पंढरपुरी डाळं / डाळवं
• १ चमचा दही (ऐच्छिक)

Today’s recipe is instant rava idli. This is a very simple, easy and quick recipe. You can make rava idly with minimum ingredients those are easily available in your pantry. It is an all-time favourite menu. It can be a good breakfast or evening snack too or a good lunch box option. It turns out nice, soft and fluffy. It looks nice and tastes just awesome. Introduction:
Idly
• 1/4 cup / 30 gm Poha
• 2 cups / 320 gm coarse Rava
• Salt to taste
• 1/2 cup / 125 gm Curd
• 2 cup / 250 gm Water
• 1 tsp Eno fruit salt
• 1 tsp Water
Chutney
• 1/2 cup / 125 gm Peanuts
• 2 Garlic cloves
• 4~5 Green chilies
• 1/4 cup / 40 gm roasted Chana dal
• 1 tsp Curd (Optional)
• 200 ml Water
• Coriander leaves
• Salt to taste
• 50 ml Water
• 1 tsp Oil
• 1 tsp Mustard seeds
• 1 tsp Cumin seeds
• 1/4 tsp Hing
• 2 dry Red chilies
• 5~6 Curry leaves
Method:
• Blend poha into as fine powder as possible.
• Mix rava, poha powder and salt well together.
• Add curd and mix well.
• Add water and mix everything well together.
• You can use 1 cup buttermilk in place of curd.
• Cover and rest the batter for 10 minutes.
• Grease idli molds well with oil.
• Add eno and water into the batter and mix in quickly.
• You can add 1/2 tsp baking soda in place of Eno fruit salt.
• Add batter in each idli mold.
• Heat up water in a steamer and bring it to boil.
• Transfer the idli stand into it and steam idlies on medium heat for 10 minutes.
• Check with a knife. It if comes out clean it means idli is steamed well.
• Take the idli stand out and let it cool down.
• Take the idli out and rava idli is ready.
• You can make around 17 idlies.
• It weighs around 1 kilo.
• This idli chutney is enough for 4 people.
Chutney
• Roast peanuts well and let them cool.
• Transfer the peanuts into a blender jar and add garlic, green chilies and roasted chana dal.
• Blend it into fine powder without adding water first and add curd, water, coriander leaves and salt.
• Adding curd is optional. You can skip it if you don’t want.
• You can add sugar if you want.
• Blend it into chutney and take it out into a bowl.
• Add water and mix well. Heat up oil in a tadka pan and add mustard seeds.
• When mustard seeds pop up, add cumin seeds and turn the gas off.
• Add hing, dry red chilies and curry leaves and add this tadka into the chutney.
• Mix well and chutney is ready.
• It weighs 400 gm.
