Bibhuti Pattnaik (born 25 October 1937) is an eminent writer and columnist for the Odia language. He joined the Department of Odia Language and Literature as a college lecturer in 1970 and retired as a reader in 1995. He has written more than 150 books. He was awarded several prominent awards like Central Sahitya Akademi Award, Odisha living legend award, Odisha Sahitya Academy, Sarala Award along with the recent award of Atibadi Jagannath Das Samman at 2016.
