Anna Elizabeth James hails from Ride and Tie legends. Her uncles are Wayne and Tim Hinrichs. She never got the "horse bug" but she did learn lots from her family about horses and Ride and Tie. When it came time to write (and then direct) the movie "Destined to Ride" she chose Ride & Tie as a major plot element.
