A presentation of Into the Eagle's Nest, published for the Commodore 64 in North America by Mindscape in 1987.

Into the Eagle’s Nest was initially released by Pandora, a premium label established by British software company Interceptor Mircos in 1986. US-based Mindscape acquired the right for the North American market along with a number of other British-developed titles at the time.

The game blends the fast-paced, multi-directional shooting of Gauntlet with the infiltration and exploration elements of Silas Warner's 1981 Castle Wolfenstein. Set in a Nazi-occupied fortress, the game places players in the role of a lone Allied soldier tasked with rescuing three captured commandos, destroying the enemy stronghold, and retrieving valuable treasures.

The gameplay revolves around navigating the multiple levels and corridors of the castle, engaging enemy soldiers, collecting ammunition, and medical supplies, and locating key objectives. With limited resources and overwhelming enemy forces, players must carefully balance combat with strategic movement, making every shot count.
