Layout Command Control (LCC) is an emerging NMRA standard for controlling accessories on your model railroad. This introduction describes how Robin Peel explored the basics of LCC with a simple test module. While Digital Command Control (DCC) controls locomotives, LCC controls layout accessories like switches, signals, lights, crossings, location/block detection, and more. DCC and LCC are standards from the National Model Railroad Association (NMRA). This video was recorded May 20 of the Seattle Eastside Clinic of the 4th Division, Pacific Northwest Region, of the National Model Railroad Association, aka 4DPNR of the NMRA. You can learn more about LCC at https://www.nmra.org/lcc Please join the NMRA to participate in these clinics; there are many local groups in North America, and also in many other parts of the world.
