Inuyasha has a lot going on. There's isekai aspects, there's dog boy aspects, and there's some deep symbolism too. Inuyasha and Kagome make an initial odd pairing but as they search for the shards of Sacred Jewel, or more specifically, the Shikon Jewel, but as the anime continues it becomes more about their relationship than anything else. The manga was adapted into two anime, the first series covering 167 episodes and the second series called "Inuyasha: The Final Act" comprised of 26 episodes to wrap up the series. Inuyasha is an adventure anime that follows 15 year old Kagome Higurashi as she is transported from modern day Tokyo back to an alternate Sengoku period. There she feels the half demon Inuyasha, and together they hunt for the shard of the Sacred Jewel. What begins as an unwanted adventure for the two evolves into an emotional connection for the ages.
