Video Not Working? Fix It Now

Prevention and readiness for invasive mussels (such as zebra and quagga mussels) has never been more important. Justin Bush (Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife) provides a background of invasive mussel biology, impacts, and distribution in the United States. Current readiness, prevention, and outreach efforts are discussed, with a special focus on eastern Washington. Everyone is encouraged to do their part to keep mussels out of Washington. Stacy Horton (Northwest Power and Conservation Council) concludes the webinar with a segment on the amendment of the council’s Fish and Wildlife Program, the current invasive species language, how participants can submit an amendment.
