I need to set up a minimum stock alert. Whenever an item’s quantity in stock falls below the required level, it will be added to a shopping list to notify me of the need to restock.

We can manage an inventory with a variety of items. The inventory operates based on stock inflows and outflows. When an item is added to the inventory, the stock increases; when an item is taken out, the stock decreases. This difference between inflows and outflows is referred to as the current stock balance.

Each item has a minimum stock level or safety stock, which serves as a threshold to alert us when it's time to reorder or to ensure there’s a comfortable amount available in stock.

We can use pivot tables to help us create the automatic shopping list.
