In the town of Berkeley in Gloucestershire on a summer's day last year, local people witnessed the sky raining seaweed. Julia meets marine biologists and the Met Office to find out what caused it. Ben investigates mass hysteria, which was the official verdict on an incident in Nottinghamshire back in 1980 when 300 people collapsed at a marching band gala.
In the West Country, Julia and Ben go on the trail of reports about wild beasts in Devon and Cornwall, one dating from 1855 and another happening right now.
