This is my second video on the iPDS "Personal Development System", an EPROM programmer, emulation platform, and development system using the 8085 CPU -- actually it has two 8085 CPUs so you can run two programs at once. In my previous video, I built a "multimodule adapter" that allowed me to install an isbx-251 bubble memory. That left two slots left. So in this video I designed and built three new multimodules. These include an SP0256A-AL2 based speech synthesizers and sound boards using the SN76489 or AY-3-8910 sound chips. Because this system has two CPUs and was designed for multiprocessing, we can easily run two programs at once. I demonstrate running Conway's Game of Life on the B CPU while programming an EPROM on the A CPU. Then I leave Conway running while we try playing music from the 76489 and speech from the SP0256.
