iRacing official hosted event in the DIRTcar 358 modifieds at Knoxville Raceway, a track well known as "THE SPRINT CAR CAPITOL OF THE WORLD". This is a fixed set-up race with no cautions, 30 laps, no heat races, so line up how you qualify. Track was super tacky during hot laps and started slicking off quickly, we missed the mark during qualifying and should have run more mid to high line and it set us almost to the rear of the field.
By the time the A-main had rolled in, the track was really starting to develop a good bottom line and a good mid line, we were able to capitalize on several other cars mistakes and ended up having a good battle between myself and the 4th place driver, and was able to bring home a 3rd place podium finish at the end of the 30 laps.
