Major work permit changes in Canada for 2025! 󰎟 The IRCC has introduced new restrictions
for open work permits (OWP) for spouses of international students and foreign workers. Now,
only students in master’s (16+ months) or PhD programs qualify to sponsor their spouse for an
OWP. PGWP holders must secure jobs in Teer 0, 1, or selected Teer 2 & 3 occupations to keep
their spouse's work permit valid.
With competition increasing in provinces like Ontario, many are exploring easier PR pathways in
Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and Atlantic Canada. This video also follows John’s journey through
multiple job interviews via QuestJobs.online, highlighting how to strategically find jobs that offer PR sponsorship. Don't miss out on these critical updates and job-hunting strategies for Canada in 2025!
