In this Designer Showcase tutorial we will be sewing the Iris Mini Crossbody, a free pattern from A Quaint Stitch. Skills I will cover in this tutorial include: - Topstitching - Sewing & topstitching curves - Installing a magnetic snap - Interior zipper pockets - Making a two-toned crossbody strap - Applying the “Better Boxed Bottoms” principles - Hybrid birthing method I am sewing on a domestic Juki HZL-DX7. My bag is made using mora faux leather from Emmaline Bags for the exterior and interfaced cotton woven from Geek Garden Fabric for the interior.
