Just 24 months since the first Wireless Super Record and 12 months from Super Recored S, We have the NEW 13 speed Super Record. Campgnolo took on board all those harsh but true comments, admits the mistakes, and got their act together. Making rapid changes to the groupset to the point where it is ready to be rolled out as a ‘platform’ for future developments in 1x, gravel, and lower tier versions.
In this video, Tom and I walk you though every piece of the set, weight it, and discuss the design and options available. Make comparisons to SRAM and Shimano and offer our thoughts as mechanics on the performance and durability of this new design.
Chainset options include
29-45
32-48
34-50
36-52
39-55
All with crank lengths 165, 170, 172.5, 175mm
Cassettes in 10-25, 10-29, 10,33, 11-34, 11-36
The ergo levers now feature a thumb shifter, and a bonus button
The bottom bracket will now use a QCK-Tech bottom Bracket
This means the EKAR group sets use the Pro-Tech Standard, and Previous generations use the familiar Ultra Torque system. The big difference is the retaining pin moves to the non drive side.
