I got a question for you: when I say the words “Global Airlines”, what comes to mind? Now if I asked you that question a couple weeks ago, you might have come up with terms like ambitious, ultra-luxury, or A380. After all, those are all pieces of airline’s stated mission; they want to redefine the luxury travel experience, and do so while using the biggest plane in the sky.

But I’m not posing this question a few weeks ago - I’m asking you today, just above a week after Global’s highly-publicized inaugural flight. That journey proved to be a bit of a fiasco, and those onboard didn’t exactly have the nicest things to say. Now, since that flight, Global leadership has come out and said they’ve learned a lot and implemented major changes. And today - I’m putting those claims to the test.

I’ll be flying aboard Global’s second round of service - going from Manchester to JFK. So then…has global actually learned its lesson? Have they implemented the changes needed to become a world-class airline? Let me explain…
