Is it IMPOSSIBLE to grow without plastic?!

Video Not Working? Fix It Now

Last week we were sent a Reddit thread that mentioned our farm and someone theorized that we were just farmers on youtube (no, I'm not insulted--it does happen in the YT world) and that's why we can cut plastic so much, so I wanted to give some behind-the-scenes details about our farm, how we are able to grow with lower dependence on plastic, and sneaky sources of garden plastic! We'll talk about EASY, MEDIUM, and DIFFICULT swaps for common garden plastics like plastic seed trays, grow bags, plastic landscape mulches, plastic netting, and more! Let me know: would you be willing to pay a bit extra to buy from a market farm that tries to minimize plastic usage? What are your thoughts on landscape fabric use--should it be allowed in organic production? What other thoughts do you have to add?
