I'm an Aussie who's lived and worked in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for over three years. During this time, I've managed to explore a lot of Asia and get some unique insight into the region. I've also spoken to many Aussies who want to move to Malaysia like I did.
Why is it that so many foreigners want to move to Australia, and yet there are many Australians who want to LEAVE?
In this video, I give my thoughts on Nomad Capitalist's fantastic deep dive into The Economist's livability rankings that compare possible lifestyles in Australia vs countries in Asia - like Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Malaysia.
While Nomad Capitalist is aimed at high net worth individuals, I give my opinion on the cost of living, healthcare, lower taxes, quality of life, tax rates in Asia and much more as an average Australian.
So is life in Asia (particularly Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia) REALLY better than Australia? Watch to find out; you might be surprised...
