Check out the time stamps to skip to the data points. Sorry it's so long as I wanted to make sure that everything was explained. We take the 2023 Hyundai IONIQ5 EV on an extended route with multiple stops and we do it 3 times to test out 3 different regenerative braking settings including one-pedal driving, Level 2 regeneration and automatic regeneration. Although not completely a controlled environment for the test, the 1 hour route consisting of stop and go driving, hills and highway driving was followed to a T in the exact same manner over the course of 3 days. One pedal drive is a setting that many electric cars have where the accelerator pedal operates not just for acceleration but when you let off, regenerative braking happens allowing electricity to go back into the battery while slowing you down. Which setting or method will yield the best results? Make sure to watch til the end.
