The new live action remake of Disney's Snow White and the Seven Dwarves, is arguably the most talked about movie is 2025 (so far), and not for good reasons. From controversial PR moments, to questionable changes of the story, Snow White is currently critically panned from critics and audiences. But how bad really is Snow White? Does it maybe have some redeemable qualities? To have better context of this film, I look into the story of Snow White by The Brothers Grimm, has well as some of its famous movie adaptations, and the production history of this movie.
