The MPC One is a powerful sequencer. The sequencer is often an overlooked aspect of the unit due to it being a powerful sampler as well. As a keyboard player used to using the Korg Kronos, Yamaha Montage, MODX, Korg M50, and a variety of workstation keyboards, I've been blown away by the sequencing capabilities of this machine. If you are a synth player or currently own a workstation, the MPC One, MPC Live, MPC Live 2, and the MPCX by Akai are really worth a look.
