In this episode I continue with the pergola DIY and start on the structure cover! With the help of my friend we manage to get the ceiling and roof tiles up, but unfortunately it is not without issue. Lot's of things I did not take into consideration when changing my original roof structure design (which was only going to be tiles), but I will make it work, or I will need to change it down the line in the worst case.

About Girl Meets Farm:
I'm Christine, a South African expat now living in Portugal.
This is my adventure as a solo expat on a farm in Central Portugal with my two fur-kids, Shakti & Shiva.
I've never owned or lived on a farm, but moved to Portugal in the hope of fulfilling a life-long dream of finding open space, subsistence farming and a safer, better life.
The third stage of our journey begins now!
I'm still figuring out farm life, and while the larger renovation of the agricultural structure is now complete, I will continue renovating the interior to make it habitable and turn it into a comfortable home for me and my furkids.
Thank you for joining our journey!
