The 2025 Isuzu MU-X large SUV has arrived and is looking to make a splash in the ute-based wagon segment, which is currently dominated by the Ford Everest but also features the Toyota Fortuner, KGM SsangYong Rexton and soon-to-be-discontinued Mitsubishi Pajero Sport. And yes, there's also technically the recently launched Toyota Prado (LandCruiser 250 Series).
So, what does the new MU-X seven-seater bring to the table? Well, it's midlife facelift ushers in a noticeably sharper exterior design and an upgraded touchscreen multimedia system, among other smaller changes. Note the previous 110kW/350Nm 1.9-litre and 140kW/450Nm 3.0-litre turbo-diesel four-cylinder engine options remain.
