Today’s feature is a player that had everything fall into place that led to him being drafted as an NBA lottery pick back in 2020 at just 19 years old. Every year there’s at least 1 player in the draft that flies up the board and becomes the hot name teams fall in love with for whatever reason, and that year the name floating around every team’s mind was Kira Lewis. The NBA nowadays for point guards are usually attracted to ones that do 1 of or all these things at a high level, and that’s shoot, distribute, or are an athletic specimen. Kira Lewis as far as speed and quickness was a natural blur, that could fill up the basket and get hot at anytime from deep. On the defensive end his potential was also very high, averaging almost 2 steals a game at Alabama in his sophomore season. In his final 7 games for the crimson tide, Kira Lewis shot nearly 50% from 3, attempting over 5 a game. In a 10 game span to end the season he had 2 30 point games, 29, 25 and 27, using his speed to get to the rim at will. He was traded three times in 4 years and played for 3 different teams total, last with the Utah Jazz for 12 games, the rest either inactive or DNPs coaches decision. He’s only 23 now, but Lewis has seen some serious Growth Stunts in his career for these reasons. It All Went Downhill For KIRA LEWIS After This! Stunted Growth
