After doing a bit of research, I found out that not only are these 370Zs rated for 332 crank hp, but there is about a 17% drivetrain loss when equipped with a manual transmission. With that being said, when throwing a stock Z on a dynamometer, one should see about 275.56 WHP when pushed to the redline. I was pleasantly surprised after seeing my results.
On my vehicle, I have HPS silicone intake tubes, a full Invidia cat-back exhaust, along with non-resonated test pipes /down pipes. My Z is not tuned yet, nor does it have other engine modifications. I will be installing cold air intakes, ported upper and lower intake manifolds, along with stainless long-tube headers. It should allow the engine to breathe more efficiently, resulting in more power. Following all of those hardware changes, I will be tuning the ECU to get the most amount of power from the engine.
