Ivan Dorn is a man who returned unashamed status and complex harmonies to pop music, and himself became its recognised king: "Stytsamen", "Mishka Guilty", "Unwed", Collaba, "Blue, Yellow, Red", "Bigudi" - the key hits of the second decade of this century, at least in the post-Soviet space.
With great joy (because we missed it) we travelled to Kyiv to talk to Ivan about how a person born in Chelyabinsk can feel himself Ukrainian, what language Dorn dreams in, and what language he would like to write songs in. How to write a hit? What is love? How to make children listen to Prokofiev?
