Naoi Rei (直井レイ), born February 3, 2004 in Nagoya, Japan, is a Japanese rapper and singer-songwriter signed to Starship Entertainment, widely recognized as the main rapper of the girl group IVE.
Her journey began in 2018 when she passed the Loen Friends Global Audition in Japan, catching the attention of the judges with her unique voice. Later that year, Rei moved to Korea to begin her training at Starship Entertainment. After three years of intense preparation, she made her debut as a member of IVE.
Rei also shares her personal experiences through her YouTube channel, where she runs a reality series titled *Follow Rei*.
On November 12, 2021, Rei was unveiled as the third member of IVE, and the group made their highly anticipated debut on December 1, 2021, with the release of their single album *ELEVEN*.
