After the third cat in the prophecy is revealed, Ivypool grows jealousy over her sister, and in her pettiness, she notices lights in the forest, guiding her to a camphor tree where the spirit of hawkfrost guides her to the spirit realm.
In this AU hawkfrost is a two tailed kitsune who takes advantage of ivypools anger towards her sister, and to show her how much harm her anger can bring, in a mean spirited away he manipulates her into trust for his own self gain in power as the mythical creature he is, and his selfishness causing to snap in a monstrous way.
