when you love your best friend but can’t have her so you sleep with her boyfriend and he gets you pregnant and you kind of maybe sort of end up being the reason that she dies but you try to convince yourself that it’s actually for the better that she went when she did because not only did you do a lot of messed up stuff after that you’re glad she didn’t have to live through, you’d only keep hurting each other and you could never be together and your life is good and happy the way it is now… right? and you’re not going to spend the rest of it repenting for what happened to your best friend who you were in love with…. right? RIGHT!?!
