With the New Year now well under way, it's time to take a look back at what was 2024. And what a year it has been! We've celebrated 60 years of the Class 14 Diesel Shunter at The Ecclesbourne Valley Railway and seen the completion of both new build locomotive's, 6880 'Betton Grange' & 32424 'Beachy Head.
The year also saw several notable returnees to steam including: 1450, 3850, 13628, 60532 'Blue Peter & 60163 'Tornado', This year also saw a number of locos bowing out of service, in need of overhaul. Including: 5197, 5199, 9466 & 45690 'Leander'
I'd like to take this moment to thank everyone who watched and supported my videos throughout the year and, of course, all those involved with the restoration and running of those beautiful beasts that we adore so much, and the railways they run on. Without whom, none of this would be possible. Thank you and a Happy New Year to you all.
