Hello.
This video is about my visit to Jangwidong, located at the eastern end of Seongbuk-gu.
Jangwi 3-dong, located on the far right of Jangwidong, has been redeveloped in many areas and apartments have been built.
However, there are still a few places that have not been developed and remain as they were in the old neighborhood.
I captured one of them in this video.
The location is a neighborhood that you can see a little to the southeast near Bukseoul Dream Forest.
Since it is scheduled for redevelopment, the old and worn-out parts are left untouched and the passage of time is preserved as it is.
The residents are still living there, but some have moved out and vacated their homes.
The trees that have grown wildly and the fluttering tents on the front door and windows are the traces of that.
A neighborhood of memories that will one day disappear under the pressure of development and be replaced by apartments.
