Video Not Working? Fix It Now

This is exciting. After nearly a year, Stylophone have finally started shipping their Drone Synth. I was super interested in this when it was first announced and demo’d last year. Got on the pre-order announcement list and then waited. For quite some time. Suddenly, last week, they announced that it was ready for shipping and people on the pre-order list would start to get emails with a link to buy. And here we are! It was worth waiting for. I don’t know what Stylophone have been drinking to come up with this new direction but I think they’ve got a winner on their hands. You can lose hours with this, just noodling around. Starsky Carr has just done an excellent video going through it bit by bit so if you want a more detailed look (with talking) than what I give here, I highly recommend his video as he does his usual thorough, and fun, overview. Starsky Carr’s video: https://youtu.be/y3UhF-MCr_g?si=j5Yk2IO18KEAVpet My take is a run through of the various parameters in no particular order, with a few sound and patch examples after. I then add a bunch of external effects which really open it up and show how massive this thing can sound. The effects used, in order of appearance, are: PolyMoon Delay Specular Tempus reverb (Voices algorithm) HX One (Euclidean delay) Chapter markers are there if you want to skip to certain sections. 00:00 - Intro 00:24 - Drone 1 01:48 - Ultra LFO 03:13 - Drone 2 06:12 - Hard Sync 08:26 - Delay & Reverb 12:57 - Space Sirens 14:25 - Coming in to Land 16:06 - And rest... 16:47 - Patching with included cables 20:18 - Patch 2 21:39 - Patch 3 22:19 - Patch 4 25:18 - Patch 5 27:24 - With External Effects 30:44 - Approaching Terminal 32:10 - Outro Thanks for watching.
