I went to the former Yasukawa residence in Kitakyushu City, Fukuoka Prefecture. This is a tangible cultural property designated by Kitakyushu City, and is a wonderful place with history, a cafe, and a beautiful view. A famous shogi battle called the Ryuo-sen was just held here, and it is currently a hot topic of conversation.
