Find out what it's like to travel in Japan's most luxurious Shinkansen cabin ... Gran Class. This bullet train also happens to be the fastest in Japan, operating at speeds of up to 320km/h.

Gran Class is the most exclusive and premium class of travel available on Shinkansen - a step above the Green Car. A dedicated attendant serves passengers food and drink in the Gran Class cabin, which has just 18 seats. The attendant welcome passengers aboard with complimentary water, snacks and wet towels.

So come along and find out what the experience is like in Gran Class on an E5 Series Shinkansen between the cities of Sendai and Tokyo, on the Tōhoku Shinkansen line. This is a Hayabusa (はやぶさ, "Peregrine falcon") service, meaning it has the fewest stops. Intermediate stops include Ōmiya and Ueno.
