The conditions for the lanes were as follows:
Bowling alley had just opened in the morning.
Lanes had not been oiled since the morning before.
The previous night there had been cosmic bowling as well as recreational bowling all day.
Last time the lanes were oiled there was a house shot put down.
The shot is whatever oil is left after 24 hrs of recreational bowling and cosmic bowling.
