Jean Solano is a Costa Rican DJ and producer who developed an early passion for art, starting with drawing and later exploring music. Influenced by his uncle's R&B and Rap music, he discovered Skrillex and Martin Garrix at 11, sparking his desire to become a DJ and producer. At 17, he began producing music using FL Studio, experimenting with genres like LoFi Hip Hop, Trap, and Techno before finding his niche in Minimal Deep Tech, known for its minimalist, groovy, and enveloping sound.
In September 2022, at 18, Jean debuted as a DJ at Avalon La Cali, a prominent underground club. In 2023, he signed tracks with labels such as BeMore Records, Dacusan Records, and Sacudan Records. He has performed alongside renowned DJs like Pedro Vasconcelos and Lexlay, gaining respect for his talent, charisma, and mixing skills. As a resident DJ at DANCEROOM, one of Costa Rica's top emerging projects, Jean has played in major clubs in Costa Rica and Cali, contributing to the electronic music scene.
