This is a 1987 Jeep Comanche SporTruck. It has the AMC 4.0L Engine, Peugeot BA10/5 5 Speed Transmission, NP231 4WD Transfer Case, Dana 35 Rear Axle and Dana 30 Front Axle. It is the Long Wheelbase configuration with a 7 foot bed. I bought it with 115,000 miles.
Miraculously, the day I finished editing this Episode, the engine randomly cut out and sputtered to a halt while driving. It now cranks but does not start. I suspect the Fuel pump, but the internet has informed me it's probably the Crankshaft Position Sensor. I shall look into this issue in the next episode.
