JELLY ROLL WEEKENDER: Skyline Pattern - Beginner Friendly, No Matching Seams!

I love this pattern! So simple, yet so sophisticated! It really has an urban, modern feel, yet, would look great in any fabric style! This is a great First Project for new quilters: Only straight sewing, Simple cutting and No matching seams. Beginner and Advance sewists will both love this pattern!

The trick to this quilt is getting the right Jelly Roll, or curate a pile of fat quarters for the design to take effect. One jelly roll that is split with 20 Lights and 20 Darks, or 20 Fat Quarters with 10 Lights and 10 Darks. The more contrast the better the effect.

In this video you will get step by step instructions along with some tips and tricks to make your weekender quilt a success! This modern looking pattern is from Carrie-Along-Quilts and we are using the MOONBEAM DREAMS Collection by Amanda Grace for Poppie Cotton. No other fabric needed, and NO WASTE!

The pattern builds a good sized throw at approximately 51" x 64". The quilt feels very modern with out borders, but you can add borders to increase the size and give it a more traditional finish. The pattern is coming soon to our store.
