The image of the Jesus Nazareno leaves Quirino Grandstand early morning Thursday, January 9, for the Traslacion. The traslacion is the traditional procession of thousands of devotees following the “andas,” or carriage which bears the statue of the Jesus Nazareno, as it makes its way back to its home, the Minor Basilica and National Shrine of Jesus Nazareno, or the Quiapo Church.
