Black and gold combination with the cream pickup covers - this guitar looks and feels way better than its price class. The alnico pickups that Jet has put into these are pure classics. They ooze of that hard rock tone and can nail down your more modern tones too. I might run out of words , but the bottomline is - by far this might just be my favourite Jet.
In terms of sound and the kind of response it has when played, I think this is one of those guitars that really can nail down a whole bunch. And you'd be forgiven for thinking that it's just a shred guitar (because it definitely screams the part by its looks alone). The magic however lies in the details - the volume roll off works plenty good and provides an optimum dynamic range. The trem works as it should. The body resonates well, the neck is a breeze to play and the satin finish is definitely a pleasant one to look at and mess with.
If you were out there in the wild, hunting a straight forward, approachable rock machine packed with enough versatility for years and I had to be your guitar whisperer - right now, this would be it. Try it. Buy it. Play it.
