Host segments for Pee-wee's Big Adventure during Joe Bob Briggs' Summer School special on TNT. The viewer mail segment with Rusty is hilarious lol. Also, I'm very surprised by Joe Bob's opinion on this movie, I thought everyone loved Pee-Wee's Big Adventure but Joe Bob thinks it sucks (!!!).
I'm going to keep on uploading as many Joe Bob Briggs Monstervision host videos as I can that aren't already on youtube. Also, the video quality for this video begins to get messed up for part of the video but I can't do anything about it, that's just the way the original vhs source video is. And as you may have heard, very funny comedian Jan Hooks who played the Alamo tour guide in this movie died a short while ago, she was imo a very underrated comedian and will certainly be missed =(
Btw, did you know that two of the BMX kids in the movie went on to be famous. One of them went on to be the main hero in Ghoulies 2 (a personal B-movie favorite of mine that was also shown on Monstervision which Joe Bob hosted), while another BMX kid was killed in a standoff with police in 2008 after being on the run for killing his girlfriend. Crazy!
