There is conflicting faith in the churches. Many Christians have an image of Jesus based on what they "hear" only in their churches, what they were taught as a child, or what they learned from others.
But our faith and what we truly believe has to be based on the Scripture and believe Jesus as He has said. He is Image and the Word of God, Eternal Life and it matters a great deal what we base our faith in.
John 7:38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, from within him shall flow rivers of living water. 39 But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believed on him were to receive: for the Spirit was not yet given; because Jesus was not yet glorified.
Our faith has to be, the faith once delivered to the saints! (Jude 1:3) That which was heard from the beginning! (1 John 2:24) We will do the same works as Jesus and He said, "and greater works!"
John 14:11 Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake. 12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto the Father.
