In this video I will be replacing the lower load Control Shaft seals ( 3 point hookup arms) on a 1985 John Deere 2750 Tractor. There is a shaft that passes thru the very bottom of the Transmission/ Differential case that the load arms attach to. These can become brittle or damaged and allow all of the hydraulic fluid to leak out. PLEASE NOTE: The larger John Deere tractor have a similar setup but more caution must be exercised on these as there is a switch that is connected to the shaft on the inside on the casing. Refer to John Deere service manual. The updated seals seem to be of great quality and the price for both seals was around $10 usd at the time of making this video in 2021.
