In this video, I've got a John Deere S780 combine that is leaking hydraulic oil out of the Main Engine Gear Case input shaft seal. You can do this job one of two ways: Pull the engine and replace the seal or remove the MEG and replace the seal. I choose to remove the engine because it is a lot faster (for me) to do the job. There are a lot of shields to take off, but there is less components that you have to remove. Watch the process of removing the almost 4,000 lb engine out of this giant combine!
