John Lennon childhood holiday home in Durness - Scotland was a primitive farmhouse lit by oil lamps and candles but, in later years, he would consider his long summers spent in Durness among his happiest childhood memories.
John and his cousin Stanley parkes relished summers on the white sands of Sango Bay, visiting Smoo Cave and sorroundings and heading up into the hills.
