The Perseus 16mm paddle gives you some of the benefits of a thermoformed paddle but in a lighter, control focused design that will make it worth the higher price tag for some players. The Perseus 14mm is more of an advanced player that has some good qualities though I'd recommend other thermoformed paddles if you're looking for more power.
