皆様こんにちは。素組みモデラーのタマです。
今回はタミヤ製ジョーダン191を製作しました。このキットは昔から作ってみたかったのですが、いざ購入しようと思った時にはすでに廃盤となっており、オークションサイトでは価格高騰してしまい手が出せませんでした。運よく相場よりも少し安く購入することができましたがそれでも定価の数倍・・・。欲しいプラモは積んでおくに限りますねぇ・・・。
このキットはさすがタミヤ製、各パーツの相性が良くバリもほとんど無い状態だったので助かりました。しかし古いキットだけあってデカールは何とか使えるギリギリの状態。スポンサーデカールと一部ライトグリーンの部分だけ使うことができたのが救いでした。
シューマッハのデビューマシンとして有名ですが、私はシューマッハよりもガショーのファンなので迷うことなくガショー仕様で製作。彼が例のトラブルがなければこのマシンでどこまで登り詰めていたのか想像するだけでワクワクします。そして、彼の後の人生を見て「人生は今とは全く違うものになるよ」と勇気を貰いました。

Hello everyone. This is Tama for Quick Builder.
This time, we made a Tamiya Jordan 191. I wanted to make this kit for a long time, but when I decided to buy it, it was already out of print, and the price soared on the auction site and I couldn't afford it. Luckily, I was able to buy it a little cheaper than the market price, but it was still several times the list price. You can only load the plastic models you want.
This kit was made by Tamiya, and each part was compatible and there were almost no burrs, so it was helpful. However, since it is an old kit, the decals are in a state where they can be used somehow. It was a relief that I was able to use only the sponsor decal and some light green parts.
It is famous as Schumacher's debut machine, but I am more of a fan of Gachot than Schumacher, so I made it with Gachot specifications without hesitation. It's exciting just to imagine how far he would have climbed with this machine if it weren't for his troubles. And when I saw his life after him, I was encouraged to say, "Life will be completely different from what it is now."
